More Challenges for St. Joe

The Ecosystems Management Agreement establishes development rules and standards for the 31,000-acre area that stretches from West Bay to Choctawhatchee Bay. The acreage is located across Bay and Walton Counties.

The Sierra Club, Panhandle Citizens Coalition and Citizens For The Bay say the agreement blocks the public from challenging individual projects within the effected area.

An administrative hearing officer will be assigned to hear the challenge to the agreement. It could take a year or more to resolve.
