You may have caught a bit of "Back to the Future" or other movies as you've flipped through radio stations the last few days.
WLHR, Hot 107.9, is apparently changing formats. The station, along with several others, was recently sold by Waitt Radio to a new owner, Double-O Radio. Right now "Hot" is playing movies preparing for the change over, which should happen later this week.
"The super computer took over, so we are playing movies while the people of Panama City vote on what they want to hear," says Dave Morgan, the program director.
The FCC has also granted Double-O the station's old call letters, WPFM. The station was a topper former in the late 1970s, 80s and early 90s.
