A man is dead after running his car into a culvert Saturday afternoon.

OKALOOSA COUNTY-A man is dead after running his car into a culvert Saturday afternoon.
It happened at Old Bethel Road in Okaloosa County just north of Sioux Circle.
Florida Highway Patrol investigators say 55-year-old Paul Leavins was driving on Old Bethel Road around 2:00p.m. Saturday when he came to a left hand curve in the road and drove onto the shoulder.
Investigators say he struck a concrete culvert.
He was thrown from the car and then taken to North Okaloosa Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
