The wife of the dead man in Fountain faced her first appearance Sunday morning for allegedly killing her husband Saturday morning.
Bay County Sheriff's Investigators say originally 32-year-old Sabrina Griffin told them she accidentally shot her husband Brian Griffin when their dog tripped her.
But as her story continued to change throughout Saturday investigators tell us they became suspicious.
The incident happened just after 4a.m. Saturday morning at 16609 Rollohome Road in Fountain.
According to their preliminary investigation the couple who lives in the Fountain home was arguing through out the night.
Sabrina Griffin told them that during the argument their dog knocked over a gun.
She told them that when she picked up the 22 rifle, it accidentally went off, hitting her husband in the chest.
Investigators say Brian Griffin was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say Sabrina Griffin also told them she didn't know the gun was loaded.
Investigators arrested her yesterday afternoon charging with an open count of murder.
During her first appearance Sunday morning the judge ordered her to be held without bond.
