Bay County Health Department officials have scheduled a late afternoon news conference to discuss an "infectious disease" at Arnold High School at Panama City Beach.
An active case of Tuberculosis was reported in one person at the school, it was not said whether it was a student, teacher or other school employee. The Health Department says the infected person is no long at the school. All Arnold students were given a letter and questionnaire Monday to bring home to their parents or guardians explaining the situation. The questionnaire should be filled out to help determine if the student has come in contact with the infected person. Testing for Tuberculosis involves two tests over a several week period.
The Questionnaire and Letter sent home to students is available for viewing in the DOCUMENTS tab above.
