The State Attorney’s office is investigating a possible misuse of city property in Blountstown.
Our sources tell us Blountstown police pulled over a city vehicle last week. The vehicle is assigned to City Manager James Woods.
Woods' 16-year-old daughter was allegedly driving the car. Our sources also indicate she was accompanied by a 15 year old male passenger.
Blountstown Police Chief Glen Kimbrell refused to release a police report to us on the incident, saying it is part of an active investigation.
The State Attorney's office confirmed this morning it has been asked to investigate the incident.
The case was to be discussed at Tuesday night's Blountstown City Council meeting but never came up.
