The holidays are the perfect time to test your saving skills, but how does saving upwards of 70 % on your grocery bill sound?
There's one Lynn Haven mom who may be reluctant to crown herself, but we call her, The Coupon Queen. She knows the tricks of the trade. Hall has been researching, cutting and saving for about six months and the results?
"Most grocery trips I save between 65 and 70%," Nathalie Hall said.
After losing full-time work last year, she's made it her job and lifestyle to save and *spread* the wealth, literally, and it's catching on like an epidemic.
If you want to get in on it, she says get organized! It's much more than cutting up Sunday's paper. Hall said, you have to totally change your mind set about shopping. The biggest complaint is that cutting coupons and keeping them all organized can be overwhelming so Hall says put down the scissors and pick up the mouse.
Where to go?
Southernsavers.com
Frugalcouponliving.Com
Attentiontargetshoppers.blogspot
Of course she has a list on her blog, auburnchick.wordpress.Com.
"I started out by reading these websites and then from there I figured out I needed to organize myself. I needed to collect the coupons here and buy the magazines. I also needed to be on the lookout for store coupons booklets," Hall said.
And she says never overlook magazines and in store coupons. She also suggests, create your own systems - great creative! And whatever you do, don't throw them away, you never know when you'll need them.
And Hall doesn't back away from excellent deals even if her family may not be interested. She said if it's one way her new saving lifestyle has changed her, is that it's made her a more generous shopper.
"Another thing I like about this is I can donate now, you know I'm not making much money, but I want to give.."
