Jurors convicted Tracy Wright and Darrell Jenkins of aggravated battery for hitting officers with horseshoes in the prison's recreation area.

Tracy Wright is also convicted of attempting to murder Sgt. Patrick Steele when he hit him in the face with an aluminum baseball bat.

Steele's face was later reconstructed with metal plates and wires. He was in critical condition for some time.

Jenkins is currently serving a life sentence for murder. Wright is serving 32 years for several crimes.

The judge has not yet decided when he'll sentence the two inmates for their latest crimes.
