Investigators say the three-year-old girl was burned recently. Instead of taking the girl to the doctor, the couple treated the burns with aloe lotion.
Deputies say they began investigating Thursday when paramedics brought the girl to the hospital. The child was having seizures.
According to reports, the parents claimed the child was burned on Tuesday when she knocked over an electric wok filled with hot water.
Right now the child is at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. Investigators say they also found cocaine residue in the home on Moylan Road at the Beach.
One of the cocaine powder spots was reportedly just two inches away from the child's pacifier.
