Johnson Bayou Bridge Project Running Months Behind Schedule

The new replacement bridge supposed to be done back in February, but the completion date has now been pushed back till the end of May.

Contractor Anderson-Columbia blames construction material problems and bad weather for the delays.

But others blame the company itself, saying there seems to be a lack of urgency about getting the job done.

We have been spot-checking the site for any activity. Our last several visits to the site showed no one was at the construction site during what would have been normal working hours.
