Bay County letter carriers are just some of the thousands that will collect food for the largest one-day food drive in America.

The main Post Office in Cedar Grove collected thousands of pounds of food for the hungry Saturday afternoon.

The Salvation Army, rescue mission and Catholic charities will all benefit from the food drive.

The local community typically donates around 80,000 pounds of food during the annual “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive.
