More than 1,800 athletes took advantage of the beautiful blue skies in the 22nd Annual Gulf Coast Triathlon Saturday.
Athletes from 46 states and 15 countries woke up bright and early Saturday morning to begin this intense race.
It involves a one to two mile swim, 56 mile bike ride, and 13 mile run.
All of the money raised from the triathlon goes to community sports programs.
