If you were caught in traffic around noon on Saturday near Highway 79 in Panama City Beach, here's what likely caused you frustration: a vehicle caught on fire.

Right before noon, an RV caught on fire while it was being transported on a flatbed trailer. Panama City Beach west end fire officials say a battery inside the RV shorted out and caused the fire.

The incident caused the northbound lane on Highway 79 to be closed down nearly two hours.

No one was injured.
