Turenne is accused of joining her boyfriend, Ralph Crompton, in beating her husband, David, to death outside of their Panama City home in 1996.

Crompton is serving a life term, but Monique Turenne fled to Canada before prosecutors charged her with first-degree murder.

Tuesday, Manitoba's High Court vetoed Turenne's request to cross examine a military police officer who was involved in the case. Manitoba's Justice Minister approved her extradition to Florida.

Turenne's appeal of that ruling is set to be heard next week.

Florida prosecutors have to agree to not seek the death penalty in exchange for Turenne's extradition.
