Traffic Stop Reveals Mobile Meth Lab In Vehicle
Two Alabama men face drug charges after an Okaloosa County deputy making a traffic stop discovered an illicit methamphetamine laboratory inside their vehicle's trunk.

Two Alabama men face drug charges after an Okaloosa County deputy making a traffic stop discovered an illicit methamphetamine laboratory inside their vehicle's trunk.
30-year old David Mitchell Cross of Theodore Alabama and 24-year old Jonathan Brette McDonald of Eight Mile Alabama were arrested Sunday evening, December 27th, around 4:30 p.m.
Cross is charged with manufacture of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of listed chemicals, possession of a controlled substance and possess of drug paraphernalia. McDonald is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
A deputy who first saw the car drive through the CVS Pharmacy parking lot at the corner of Mary Esther Boulevard and Miracle Strip Parkway in Mary Esther noticed the car weaving and pulled it over near Jonquil Drive. Cross was arrested for possession of meth during that initial contact . A search of the vehicle turned up materials and chemicals associated with methamphetamine production. The lab was dismantled by members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force.
