LYNN HAVEN--- Authorities say the fight in the boy's bathroom at Mowat Middle School last Friday, was actually an initiation into a street gang known as the "G's", or the Ganster Disciples.
A group of the alleged gang members beat another boy, who allegedly wanted to become a member.
Although, he is much larger than the other boys, you can see in the video he's not even defending himself.
It was the beating last Friday that led to school officials discovering the gang issue at Mowat Middle School.
Since then Bay County Sheriff's Officials have arrested a total of eight teenagers in connection with three beatings, one each on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The eight suspects are all facing at least one felony count.
"Not a light charge. It's a charge that will potentially affect their life and their freedom and they'll carry it with them for a while because it is a serious charge," says Major Tommy Ford with the Bay County Sheriff's Office
Despite the shocking effect the video has had, Mowat Middle School Principal Ed Sheffield doubts the boys are what's known as serious gang bangers.
"What I saw were 12 and 13-year-old kids acting out what they saw on T.V. or a movie. Quite honestly what they were doing was for show and that's why they video taped it," says Sheffield.
Even if there are some members of the Gangster Disciples still lingering on the campus Mowat campus, Sheffield does not believe there will be any more problems, and that no one should be afraid for their safety.
"My own daughters know these kids that were in the gangs and I asked my own children if they were you were scared of the kids and they said no," says Sheffield.
District administrators say Sheffield and his staff properly handled a tough situation.
"They're being upfront about it they're not trying to hiding or sweeping anything under the rug I think they are doing and exceptional job," says Dr. John Haley.
As for more charges or additional gang activity, Ford isn't ruling out anything. Bay County School Board Members are set to discuss the case next Wednesday.
There is a possibility all eight students will be expelled.
