The investigation began in Washington County where sheriff's investigators say 64-year -old Alton Hartzog took pornographic pictures of several children.
They say his activities may have also included children from the Panama City/Bay County area as well.
Deputies say Hartzog would offer to take family photos, but would take obscene pictures instead.
Investigators say they found hundreds of kiddie porn pictures on Hartzog's home computer.
Meanwhile, Bay County sheriff's investigators are asking that anyone who may have had pictures taken by Hartzog to call their office at 747-4700
