Okaloosa Cocaine Bust Nets One Arrest

Arrested at his home in Mary Esther was Shane Dewayne Barker, age 23. He is charged with Trafficking in Cocaine.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), assisted by the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office and the Okaloosa County Multi-Agency Drug Task Force, seized approximately $18,000 worth of cocaine in powder form, packaged for re-sale, at Barker's home.

A firearm and items of drug-related paraphernalia were also discovered and seized by the lawmen.

The Escambia and Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Offices assisted in the investigation that led to the search warrant.
