Local Doctor Loses License to Practice in Florida

Osteopathic physician Dr. Bruce G. McDonald is losing his license for failing to report two crimes in which he was involved.

The state says Dr. McDonald entered a plea to delivery of Methaqualone in south Florida in 1980.

In 1999 he was convicted on a stalking charge by a Bay County Circuit Court jury.

The state says McDonald failed to report either case to the board of Osteopathic Medicine as required by Florida law.

His office formerly was located in the 3100 block of Minnesota Ave. in Lynn Haven.
