Friday morning, friends and family gathered at the Nomad Memorial at Eglin. Eight years ago, terrorists bombed the Khobar Towers Military Barracks in Saudi Arabia, killing 19 service men. Twelve were members of the 33rd Fighter Wing at Eglin.
Friday, the ceremony included a 21 gun salute and a flyover by three F-15s. The memorial includes portraits of each airmen and a sword surrounded by flames.
