This year's Bay District Teacher of the Year says it's still sinking in that she won during Thursday night's annual awards dinner.
Anna Hull is the fourth grade gifted teacher at Patronis Elementary.
She says she's always wanted to teach, but what makes her such a great teacher? Best friend and long time colleague Allison Parker says it's her love for each and every student.
Those students agree.
"She was really nice to me and she was really nice to all the people in the class and I really like that," says Jacob Smith.
"Ms. Hull you are a lovely teacher," says Sydney Andirullt.
"She's gorgeous and she is nice," says Elora Riley.
Hull is now off to represent Bay County in the Florida Teacher of the Year award's ceremony.
A cruise for two was also apart of her prize package.
