The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent suicide in the parking lot of the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
A man found 26-year old Amanda Marie Sterling of Pensacola shot in her SUV around 7:05 Thursday morning. She died around 1:30. p.m.
An autopsy to determine the exact cause of death is slated for Friday.
Doctors and nurses at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center were able to save Sterling’s unborn baby boy, who has now been transferred to Sacred Heart Hospital.
At last word, he was in stable condition.
Investigators say Sterling did leave a hand-written note in her car, but the contents will not be disclosed.

I wonder what made this girl do this. I searched for pregnant suicides because I myself am so depressed. I will not do this, but something made me want to read about it. My heart goes out to her.
