Fourth of July Festival and Fireworks Schedule

Panama City’s Salute to Freedom will be all day Saturday and Sunday on the Downtown Marina. There’s a full schedule of activities and it all will be capped off with the fireworks at 9:00 Sunday evening.

Panama City Beach has a one day 4th of July festival on Sunday at Pier Park. Fireworks will be Sunday at 9 p.m.

Lynn Haven celebrates the holiday on Saturday, July 3. It starts with a bicycle parade at 8:15 followed by the annual 4th of July parade at 9 a.m. The parade, which normally lasts more than an hour begins at the 5th Street Ball Park and then goes down Ohio Ave.

Following the parade there is a full slate of activities and entertainment at Sharon Sheffield Park on Ohio Ave. The day concludes with the Lynn Haven fireworks (Saturday) at 9:00 at the 5th Street ball park.

DeFuniak Springs will hold its celebration on Saturday, July 3 in the Lakeyard. There's a parade at 4:30, more than a dozen free activities for the children, and food. Fireworks over the lake will be at 8:45 p.m. Saturday night.

Mexico Beach will have its fireworks Sunday night at 9 p.m. following a full day beach party at Sunset Park.

Port St. Joe has its two-day Independence Festival at Frank Pate Park. The event is scheduled to include Pirates, movies, treasure hunts, a boat show, music and dancing. The fireworks display is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. (EDT) Sunday night.

Apalachicola will have its Christmas In July holiday celebration starting at 6:00 p.m.. (EDT) Sunday evening at Ten Foot Hole at Battery Park. Local bands will provide entertainment. The fireworks will be around 9 p.m.

Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin has children’s activities, and music starting at 4 p.m. and lasting until 10 p.m.
