Farenheit 9/11 Falls Short at Local Theatres

Michael Moore's film, Farenheit 9/11, may have made millions in theatres across the country in its first weekend, but so far it's not faring as well in Bay County.

Two theatres began screening the controversial movie today, after passing on it opening week. Only about 40 people bought tickets to see the
first showing of Farenheit
9/11.
It was a disappointment
for managers here,
especially since it is the
start of the holiday
weekend and a rainy day at
that.

After all the
controversy and hype across
the country, Michael Moore's
Farenheit 9/11 finally made
its way to Bay County.
Those few moviegoers who saw the film Friday afternoon
say it was worth the hype,
but it didn't necessarily
change their minds
politically.
