Traffic Patterns Even More Confused

A single lane eastbound will remain open on Front Beach Road for motorists to reach Holley Lane and Thomas Drive southbound.

All east and westbound traffic will be using the four lane temporary corridor just north of the construction zone. This move will allow construction throughout the entire project and hopefully will eliminate some of the traffic delays.

Construction of the approach ramps and clear span sections of the new elevated roadway started at the east end of the project and have been moving west.

All traffic signals for Woodlawn, Thomas Drive and Wildwood Road will remain the same. However, the light that used to be at Back Beach and Front Beach near Wayne's World will be discontinued.

This re-routing of traffic will remain in effect until eastbound traffic is able to use the new elevated portion of the flyover project .The elevated section is expected to be completed in late next year.

To remain updated on this project, you may visit the project’s website at: www.thomasdrive98.com.

Motorists are reminded to drive with caution while traveling through the work zone.
