A two car crash involving Spring Breakers in Panama City Beach three years ago, has left one Spring Breaker with permanent brain damage and another facing a court judgment of more than 9-million dollars.
An Escambia County circuit court jury has awarded Paulina Bacigalupo $9.23 million dollars in an automobile negligence lawsuit as a result of this April, 2007 crash at Clara Avenue and Middle Beach Road.
The Ohio spring breaker was a passenger in a car driven by 18-year-old Bridget Johnson .
Johnson made a left turn into the path of a van. She told police she thought it was a four way stop at the intersection.
The crash put Bacigalupo in a coma for several weeks, and left her with brain damage.
Her lawsuit against Johnson's family was originally filed in Bay County, but was later transferred to Escambia County.
