Tourism officials say they are happy with the current turnout for Spring Break.
Over the next six weeks, TDC officials expect over a half-million spring breakers to hit the world's most beautiful beaches.
120 colleges and universities are currently out for their annual week of relaxation.
This first full week of spring break falls a week earlier than last year. Just about every hotel and motel along the beach is booked up.
TDC officials tell us there have been a few trash problems, but nothing out of the ordinary.
But a Michigan college group is helping out on that front, picking up trash on the beach.
"We've been out there everyday cleaning up the beach. Making sure we're doing everything to keep the beach in great shape. So far, I've heard the kids are having a great time. Most are being respectful of the destination and we hope that continues for the rest of the spring break season," Dan Rowe, TDC President said.
Spring break runs through early April.
