P.C. Man Charged with Shooting Girlfriend in the Face

A Panama City woman woke up in the middle of the night to find an intruder coming through her window. Police say it turned out to be her boyfriend, but in this case that's not good news.

Police say the intruder was 24-year-old Anthony Beach. He was arrested early Saturday morning after allegedly shooting his girlfriend.

Investigators say Beach broke into Nicole Elvira's apartment around 1 a.m. Saturday morning. The two got into an argument and Beach allegedly shot his Elvira in the face.

Police say she underwent surgery to have the bullet removed and is now recovering.
