Ernie Paul Dugas changed his plea Tuesday, ending what was to be a two day federal trial.
Dugas kidnapped Amber Lynn Davis from her home on the west end of Panama City Beach in August 2002. He let Davis go in Texas, but not before going on a crime spree, which included some robberies.
Dugas is serving three life sentences in Louisiana for the crimes. He'll be sentenced in Pensacola on September 24.
