Sunday Evening Traffic Accident KIlls One Woman in Calhoun County
A Wewahitchka woman has died after being struck by a car on State Road 71 north of Clayton Shiver Road.

A Wewahitchka woman has died after being struck by a car on State Road 71 north of Clayton Shiver Road.
THe Florida Highway Patrol says 47 year old Cherie L. Cantrell was stopped on the west side of the highway with a disabled vehicle. She crossed the highway and walked into the path of a car.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. THe driver was identified as 72 year old Jessie L. Hawkins of Tallahassee.
THe crash investigation is continuing
