Construction Accident

A construction accident in Panama City leaves one man in critical condition at the hospital and the other workers shaken.

The Panama City Police Department says one Garney construction worker in a Bobcat tractor backed up into a fellow worker and then ran over him around noon Wednesday at the construction site at 19th and Harrison. According to the police, the back tread of the Bobcat ran all the way up to the victim's neck.

He was taken to a local hospital where he's in critical condition. The identity of the victim is being withheld until his family is notified. The Panama City Police Department is investigating the accident.
