Hardin pealed no contest in Bay County court to petty theft charges. He was arrested earlier this year for allegedly shoplifting football cards and other items from the Panama City Beach Super Wal-Mart store.
This plea of convenience comes with the start of the high school football season less than two months away.
Under the plea deal, Hardin will pay $350 in fines and court costs, serve six months probation and complete a "Shoplifters Anonymous" course.
Adjudication of guilt will then be withheld.
Bay County Judge Elijah Smiley has approved the plea agreement.
