The accident happened on State Road 71 in Calhoun County some six miles north of Wewahitchka
Killed was 56-year-old Thomas Arthur Adams of Blountstown.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Adams passed a line of traffic and then lost control of his motorcycle.
He crashed head-on into the pickup truck driven by 49-year-old Walter Crawford Fields, II, of Kinard.
Fields sustained minor injuries. Adams died at the scene.
