PANAMA CITY, FL--- Family and community were at the heart of a Panama City weekend event.
This is the 10th year for the Soul Food Festival in Bay County.
Organizers say each year the event gets better.
The organizers of the event say it's rare when families and friends gather over a wholesome home-cooked meal. They say it's the reason this annual event was created.
"So they don't have no worries nothing to think about just fun today," says organizer Christine Sims.
Sims says the fee collected from the vendors is being used to buy toys and trophies for the youngsters.
