The Washington County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the case and they say they have no leads to where she might have gone. They are saying she has family in Ozark, Alabama, but no indication she is there.

Britney lives at home with her mom off of Country Road in Vernon, and investigators say it's known to be a quiet area. Some of the neighbors agree and say they're surprised to hear about her disappearance.

Jack Lee has lived on this road for the last eight years and says he never hears or sees anything unusual.

"Very quiet, peaceful around here."

But that's until now. His neighbor, 19-year-old Britney Jenae Wright, has been missing for the last two weeks. She's about five foot and about 100 pounds. Britney was last seen on July 22, which was on a Sunday night at her residence at the Country Road area in Vernon.

Since 11:30 that night she hasn't been seen. Authorities say Britney's mom did find some belongings that Britney usually carries when she leaves home.

"She said she was checking in her room and did find her cell phone and some personal items that we would believe she would have taken those items with her, should she have left without notice."

Investigators say they have no reason to believe there's any foul play involved.

"All I can tell you is at this point and time we don't have anything that would be indicative that she's been in any kind of trouble or is in any type of trouble at this point and time."

Lee has hope that Britney will return home.

“Maybe she'll show up soon, okay, and in good shape."

Britney was also last seen wearing pajamas, but investigators aren't sure what she's wearing now.

Investigators say they searched the area via helicopter and are handing out fliers to help find Britney. If you have any information on Britney's whereabouts, please contact the Sheriff's Office at 638-6111.
