Highway 98 Improvement Public Information Meeting

The meeting is being held to give interested persons an opportunity to view design plans for U.S. 98 from east of Business 98 to the Dupont Bridge.

Proposed improvements include: milling and resurfacing, extending the existing southbound left-turn lane to old U.S. 98, extending the existing northbound left turn lane to Wood Avenue, sidewalk construction and ADA upgrades.

The median at east Cooper Drive will also be removed.

Maps, drawing and other pertinent information will be available for viewing and FDOT project personnel will be available between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to answer questions and discuss the proposed the transportation improvement project.
