Ms. Henley will fill the vacancy created by the death of Newman "Buddy" Brackin and has agreed to serve until another clerk is elected and takes office on January 3, 2005.
Henley, 53, is presently serving as the Courts Director.
She is a graduate of Choctawhatchee High School and attended Pensacola Junior College and Okaloosa Walton Junior College.
Henley resides in Ft. Walton Beach with her husband Larry Henley.
