Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist has had to remind 77 gas stations around the state about a statewide $0.08 gas tax cut effective this past Sunday. Two of those stations are here in Bay County.
The state received two complaints about the “Pop-In Convenience Store” on the corner of Front Beach Road and Laurie Avenue.
The other local complaint was filed against the “231 BP Plaza” at the intersection of Highway 231 and State Road 20 in Youngstown.
Crist is sending investigators to check-out all of the complaints he receives.
The gas tax break approved by the Florida Legislature lasts for the entire month of August.
