A Destin woman faces felony charges after a hit and run crash left a bicyclist dead on U.S. 98 in the Panhandle.
Linda Gant Wheeler is charged with DUI manslaughter and leaving the scene of the fatal accident that killed Jose Barcena on a bustling stretch of the highway in Navarre.
Wheeler faces up 30 years in prison if convicted.
State troopers say she fled after her westbound Chevrolet Tracker veered onto the shoulder of the road where it rear-ended Barcena Wednesday night.
