PC Supply Drive Raises Thousands for Victims of Hurricane Charley

Clear Channel Radio, the American Red Cross and Newschannel Seven are teaming up to send relief supplies to southwest Florida.

An 18-wheeler has been set up at the Lincoln Center on 15th Street to take donations. Financial donations are also pouring in. About $30,000 has already been raised.

Politicians, business owners and others are dropping by cash and checks, some of which were for $500.

The supply drive continues Tuesday until around noon.

If you can't make it to the Lincoln Center and would still like to make a donation, you can call 1-800-HELP-NOW or drop off a donation at the Red Cross on 15th Street.
