Know Your Enemy

Know your enemy. That's the lesson 30 undercover drug cops from across the state are learning in Panama City this week.

They're taking part in a training session to combat the methamphetamine drug trade. DEA agents taught the officers how to make methamphetamine, so when they bust a potential meth lab they can properly identify the drug. It also helps them if they testify in court.

"By seeing the process they can identify and test the meth they find. They can see if it is in fact a meth product," says Tim Binkley, a DEA Special Agent.

Binkley says by teaching an entire region of undercover cops, they can work together on cases that often cross several county lines.
