Ft. Walton Beach - A four-month investigation nets two Fort Walton Beach men on charges of trafficking in cocaine.

Executing a search warrant Friday at 415 Corvette Street, members of the Drug Task Force and the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team seized approximately seventy-nine grams of crack cocaine and sixty grams of cocaine HCL, or powder cocaine. The raid also turned about more than 14-thousand dollars cash, and two handguns.

Deputies took 21-year old Kenneth Ray McLemore and 25-year old Travaress Tashae McLemore into custody.

In addition, 18-year old Riley Alexander Wallace of Lumberton, Mississippi, was inside the residence when the search warrant was executed and is charged with resisting arrest without violence. Deputies say he was on the couch when they entered. Wallace rolled over onto his stomach, placing his hands in his waistband and ignoring demands to remove them.

Drug Task Force members say the targets of the investigation are known locally as “The Mississippi Boys”.
