Economic impacts from the oil spill still seem to be rearing its ugly head--this time by way of oil impact warning signs.
County Health Departments have posted signs along the beaches of Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
The advisories are meant to warn the public of the potential health hazards associated with the oil spill but some local officials say the signs are hurting business.
Three weeks ago a state-wide task force agreed the signs' verbage was misleading, outdated and needed to be re-worked.
The task-force set a deadline for the Florida Department of Health to make these changes but so far the signs have not been updated.
