The accident happened about 3:30 Thursday afternoon on Sand Ridge Church road near the intersection of Murphy lane in Grand Ridge.
That's a dirt road that's still wet and muddy from all the recent rain.
According to witnesses, 15-year old Ted Michael Jeter was heading east on Sand Ridge Church road when he apparently lost control of his car.
The vehicle slid sideways off the road, and slammed into a large oak tree.
Jeter and one of his passengers, 16-year-old Christopher Brandon Hobbs, were killed at the scene.
Paramedics airlifted the other passenger, 16-year old Kristian Bo Mcclamma to Tallahassee Memorial hospital, where he later died.
Word of the crash spread quickly, drawing dozens of the boys' friends and family members to the scene.
State troopers closed the roadway for several hours as they investigated.
Because of the tragedy, Sneads High school plans to have grief counselors on campus Friday have canceled Friday night's football game.
We'll have more on the story as soon as it's available.
