OKALOOSA COUNTY-- An Okaloosa County man will be spending the rest of his life in prison.
A jury convicted 31 year old Phillip Michael Hess on Monday of 2 counts of sexual battery on a child less than 12 years old.
Hess repeatedly abused a 6 year old and a 7 year old at his Crestview home between January and May 2013.
The children were either living in the home at the time or visiting Hess' children while he served as their caregiver.
Immediately after his conviction, the judge sentenced Hess to 2 consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole and designated him as a sexual predator.
