PANAMA CITY, Fla. -- The Downtown Improvement Board hosted a vintage market in the historic Marie Hotel building for Bay County residents, Saturday.
Multiple vendors set up booths to sell their collectibles.
There was even a chance to learn a little bit about local history, including memorabilia from a long ago Coca Cola bottling company that was in Panama City.
Antique vendor, Jerry Daniel, showcased many items that came from that local plant in the 1920’s.
“The antique stores are also opening at 7:30 along with the market, so you can make a day of it shopping, and just a relaxing Saturday,” said Lisa Doss, Event coordinator.
The Vintage Market takes place on the corner of Harrison and 5th avenue on the second Saturday of each month, until November.
The event, which will happen rain or shine, starts at 7:30 in the morning and lasts until about 1:30 pm.
