SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. Investigators say it appears an early morning house fire in Santa Rosa Beach was intentionally set. The South Walton Fire District got the call around 2:30 Tuesday morning.
When they arrived they saw flames and smoke coming from the front porch area of the home on Mack Bayou Road.
Neighbors says the house has been vacant for a year.
The Fire Marshall investigation listed arson as the cause.
The flames were confined to the first floor of the vacant home. Damage was listed at $50,000.
