Bank Robber Makes First Appearance In Court
Panama City-Patricia Brewer had an emotional first appearance in court Saturday morning.
The Panama City Beach woman is accused of making a false bomb threat to the Panama City Beach Walmart as a diversion on Friday, so she could rob the PNC Bank branch off of Middle Beach Road.
After allegedly making the false report to Walmart employees, Brewer demanded an unknown amount of cash at the bank.
Security cameras caught images of the woman.
Bank employees also got a good look at the get-a-way car.
Officers found a car matching the description in the Cabana West Condominiums parking lot off of Alf Coleman Road.
They located Brewer who admitted to calling in the false bomb threat to distract police so she could rob the bank.
Brewer was seen shedding a few tears in her first appearance. Her total bond has been set for $120,000.
