Bay County Head On Crash Kills Two Women

Two drivers from the Youngstown/Fountain area were killed in late Saturday night crash on Highway 231 north of Penny Road in Bayou George.

Killed was 87 Year old Hazel B. Dill of Youngstown and 23-year-old Kayla Ingerman of Fountain.

The Florida Highway Patrol says Mrs. Dill was southbound in the northbound lanes of US 231. Miss Ingerman was driving north in the northbound lanes.

Troopers say the two cars crashed head on. A third car was also headed north and crashed into the Dill vehicle after it had crashed head on into the Ingerman car.

The driver of the third car 30 year old Stanley W. Kahn, II of Tallahassee and his passenger, 31 year old Edward S. Hand of Grand Ridge were both injured and were taken to Bay Medical Center.

Troopers say the women drivers were pronounced dead the scene.
