The primary elections are about two months away, and Bay County Supervisor of Elections Mark Andersen is looking for more volunteers.
Elections officials have about 500 volunteers lined up for both the primaries and general election.
But they are looking for at least 30 more to step in the event of someone calling in sick.
The hours can be long, but volunteers can make between $100 and $250 a day
"We can sign anyone up at any point in time. Then we just put them in our cycle or the next election cycle or whatever process, because people do move new people come in, people do leave some have decided they have had enough and we have had some great people that have worked at our polling locations,” said Andersen.
For more information about volunteering call the Bay County Supervisor of Elections office at 850-784-6100.
